I just finished It by Stephen King this morning as I was substituting for a Geometry class. And seriously? If you’ve ever read that book, you know what comes toward the end, and boy was it awkward to read in front of 9th graders. Uh, whoa.

Anyhoo.

I’ve just gotta say? I’m still afraid of clowns. And probably more so because of this book. My husband got me to read it (ha, it, It. Get it? Whatever.) because I mean, really. Who’s afraid of clowns anymore these days?

Well, whatever. I may have gotten over my fear of needles, but apparently, this one is sticking around.

And I’d really like to stop thinking about it because I’m getting shivery goosebumps up and down my arms.

Maybe I should just stick to the children’s books. I hear Stephen Hawking is coming out with his own, and how scary can he be, right?

In other news, Battlestar Galactica is making its last appearance in a new final episode that is to last 2 hours tonight. A 2 hour finale party has been scheduled at mine abode, and while I’m really, really, really (really, really, really) excited, it is also extremely bittersweet. I’m always catching on to new shows as they’re about to end (Arrested Development and Firefly, just to name a couple), but BSG? I’ve been watching for a while. Sure, it hasn’t been like I’ve been watching it a decade or something (the newer one hasn’t been around that long), but whatever. All you haters can just uh, what comes next?

I’ve been meaning to show you guys more pictures of Petey, because she was 67 pounds when we first got her. I took her to the vet yesterday, and she weighed in at a trim *cue drum roll, please* 50.3 pounds! Yay She is a frisky little puppy again, and no longer a hotdog chowing flopsack.
